Who We Are

River of Life was founded August 4th, 2002. We are a Spirit-filled church family who loves to come together in worship.  We are an Interdenominational Church that is only interested in one label:  we are Christians committed to exalting Jesus! We eagerly welcome all those from different backgrounds.

We are not content to remain as we are. We want our loving family to grow in every way the Lord has planned for us. Please visit us and get to know us. Join us so that we may minister to one another while growing together in His grace and knowledge.

How To Connect
According to Holy Scripture, "God inhabits the praises of His people." Because of this, we blend traditional and contemporary praise and worship for a soul-satisfying encounter with God for everyone. We are a Pentecostal flavored church that believes in exalting Christ through praise, worship, singing and prayer. We believe you'll be blessed by the music of our worship team and touched by the messages that God has handed down to our Pastor.

Ministry Purpose
River of Life exists to provide people of all ages and backgrounds a place to find salvation through Jesus Christ and worship together as a family. We will teach them to live for God daily and to love others as described in Matthew 25.

Our Heritage

Charter Members (Feb 2003)

A few of the significant events that have brought us to where we are:

• August 4th, 2002 | First worship service held at the Hilton Hotel in Columbus, Georgia. Later we moved to the Wyndham Hotel.
• January 2003 | Moved to Veteran's Square.
• February 2003 | Received 105 Charter Members into River of Life Church.
• March 2005 | Purchased our current location at 509 Idle Hour Drive, Phenix City, Alabama
